All the facilities on Stanwix Park are available to campers and tourers to enjoy and are included in the price. We have two camping and touring sites on Stanwix Park.
Criffel Site is at the top end near the golf course and Skiddaw Site is at the bottom end of the park shaded by trees.
• All pitches are hard standing and suitable for tents or caravans with awnings except No’s 247 to 254 which are grass and small in depth (15ft). Hard standing pitches are fine pea gravel for better drainage and the ground sheet is clean when lifted. The feedback from campers is that they are warmer than grass. There is a grass area between each pitch for a car or tables and chairs.
• All pitches have Electric (240 volt 10amp), water, sewage hook-ups and chemical disposal points.
• Free hot and cold-water in both toilet blocks which include washbasins, toilets, showers and bath cubicles as standard.
• Criffel Site has a camper’s kitchen with worktops, sinks, electric hobs and microwaves.
• On the main park is a laundry with washing and drying facilities.
• Only two dogs per pitch are allowed, charged at £3 per day and mustbe kept under strict control on a lead at all times.
• Booking in advance is advisable to guarantee a pitch. Pitches are numbered,
if you have a favourite pitch number, we will do our best to oblige.
