'HIGHLANDER 2013' After much debate, consideration and canvassing the regulars I have been persuaded that for 2013 the HIGHLANDER will go west. Seriously considering doing this run-out next year. Coming up from Maidstone in Kent, will likely stop off in the Lake District for a few days before and after the event, to split the journey up. Have you looked at the routes yet - keen to see just how far you intend to go each day, as we want to have a good look at the beautiful countryside and the chance to stop and take pics! HOW FAR? Ron

Hi Everyone,
Just a wee chase up! I've spoken to the hotel this morning and they had only 6 rooms booked under the group booking. We managed to round up a few that were booked seperately but still have only 10 rooms booked. Can the rest of you who are going please book as soon as possible as the cut off is the 1st of March.
James, I'm sure you told me you'd booked. Lucie, they don't seem to have yours. Iain, get your finger out! Terry, did you get through in the end?

Alan, am going to this but I will not be staying at the hotel. Will be staying at my summer villa, you know, the one with the razor wire, fences and my own bodyguards...........

Almost lost the will to live, have tried 3 phone numbers, the pathetic on line system (see my post from Aug 2012) and the web page. How are you guys managing to book this? Is it just me? I have given up trying to book, so will not see you all this year, 12 highlanders is a record that will take some catching, please enjoy the chase. And do remember it was me that suggested this area for runs and this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
