Couldn't see anything wrong with the fuse, changed it, still the same, did however find why my heated screen on the hardtop didn't work as the relay had fallen out....

Another hibernating TF awakes just in time for the Highlander. (Only needed a rear hub and wiper blades.) Now it's off to the wash n wax for a spruce up! So hardtop on or soft-top down?
See you all soon!

Looks like I'm up early in the morning to change pads on the 115 and bring it up to Stirling. After 7 weeks standing still I don't want yo chance a breakdown with the wife in it! Mrs A will be bringing the Clockwork Orange up to Nethy Bridge after work ??

Had a good rest today at work and planning on an early night tonight after our escapades on Sat / Sun which was greatly enjoyed by Anne and myself . Looks like a need to declare myself as a hypocrit now as well as my other faults . I don't like long runs anymore . LIAR . Nethybridge -------Spean bridge ---------- Kyles of Lochalsh ------- Skye ------ ---- Plockton for lunch ----------------- Applecrosss --------- nearly Ullapool -------Inverness ---------Nethybridge Haven't worked out the mileage yet but sure David C could probably trump that . Thanks to N4 JTM for making it all possible and for not falling apart unlike some others . No names mentioned of course James , Iain and Steve . Hope the AA man has got next years date in his diary . Even managed not to be hooligan this year as nobody to spar with although some did try . Thanks to everybody for their company and the banter and if you were not there you should have been

First of all, thanks alan, Ian and co. for another great Highlander.. Great roads, good driving, reasonable top down weather and most of all, great friends....
Apologies for the moody session over the weekend but was not so much gutted but angry, anyway, I did manage to enjoy the latter half of the weekend so, thanks to everyone for giving me a bolster up(yes, yes; short man jokes!!!!) lol
Looking forward to next year's Highlander in the Lake District ( only a suggestion)
P.S. Ian, I will bring over the liquid saturday

Another great Highlander this weekend, thanks to Iain & Alan for organising. Nice to see familiar friendly faces (and i don't mean the AA man, although i was pleased to see him). Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as Me, Mrs Dux and MGMUT did.
Car is Highlander filthy, but still enjoyed top down drive to work and back this morning.

Here I sit holed up in the Twice Brewed Inn reflecting on another marvellous Highlander weekend! I think this year's was one of the classics! Good company, nice runs, great company, stunning scenery, fantastic company, not to mention indifferent entertainment. Did I mention the priceless company? One thing's for certain - Scotland's wee flying beastie population has been significantly reduced; I've imported a load of carcasses into England on my numberplate alone! Thanks for letting me join the sports cars with my 'warm hatch'; it was great to see you all again. Safe travels and best wishes :-)

Thanks to all those who supported the Highlander again this year. Glad you all seemed to enjoy it. It always seems to be over too quickly! Great to see everyone though.
Where to next .......?

It's hard to believe that it's a week since we were at Nethybridge. The grass has been cut and the last of the flies finally scraped off the front of the car and now have time to see what was in the camera. As a first timer, many thanks to all you seasoned Highlanders for the very warm and welcoming acceptance of another two interloper's from Co Antrim. The four days from Friday to Monday turned out to be the most enjoyable I've had in a car since last competing in Rallying in the 70's, my left ear is just about back to normal!! I've put the photo's together in a slideshow ( Iphone and video as well ) so quality is variable but hopefully will give a flavour of the w/e.
Youtube video ref:
Best wishes to you all and happy motoring for the rest of the summer

I'm not sure what exactly is happening but whilst the Youtube link does not appear in the above post, it is there tho invisible and if you double click in the space above the last two lines the video will play.
Maybe someone might let me know how to correctly post a link to a youtube video?

Can anyone tell me if there was a price on the T- type replica that is in one of James Highlander 2014 pictures . The donor vehicle was an Mgb and the vehicle is on Sorn at present . Anyone on the Highlander pay any particular attention to this car as regards its condition . I am in love again and ten cars sounds better than nine . Nice round number
