Shall we just meet at Newhouse at 2pm? I was thinking earlier (12.00), casual run down and a lunch stop somewhere en route to Peebles and arrive late afternoon at the hotel? I'm not working that day so I have plenty of time and understand others might not be able to meet that early. Happy to fit in with a meet later than 1200. This would be our preferred choice.

I'll be blasting up M5/M6 from Bristol if anyone else is along the way and wants to hook up - probably around the lakes by late lunchtime if I escape on schedule.

Think the ESSO station stocks Supreme Unleaded, will try and check this evening. Otherwise Shell in Galashiels or Selkirk stock V Power and Tesco in Penicuik has, or certainly had Momentum.

Sorry to say, due to a duo of sick people, one young, one old, we cant justify three days away. I hope I'll get a pass to attend one day at least on a day trip basis. Sorry folks, I held on as long as possible hoping theyre would be some improvement. I put the car into the garage to get a few things sorted for the Highlander and I spent Saturday morning and Sunday night cleaning the life out of it. All seems a waste of time now Hopefully I'll see you Saturday or Sunday.

Supreme is fine with Octane Booster, will come down via Penicuik and fill up there. (Assumes I'll be in the Scooby)

June and I have the day off on Friday and want to make the most of what looks like the best day (weather wise). We would like to set off no later than 12:00 and grab some lunch on the way down as per Glenn's suggestion. If everyone else prefers to leave later, as I know not everyone can or wants to take the day off, then we will make our own way there and see you all in the bar So is anyone else up for an earlier departure? ps. WE ARE STARVIN

Just a quick, thanks to all for making another great Highlander. We all had a great time, will try and sort a few pictures and video out when I get chance in the next few days. Think Go-pro should make a windscreen wiper to clean dead bugs from the screen..... One scored a direct hit yesterday and wrote off quite a bit of yesterday afternoons recording!!!! A big thank you to all who supported Highlander 2015. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did and made it home without incident. It always seems to be over so fast! BUT...there will be another along soon. I've been working on it this afternoon and should be able to announce details of Highlander 2016 shortly.

Another very enjoyable highlander, thanks to all that attended for making it such a good weekend. A big thanks to all involved in organising the weekend.
We had two great runs and even managed to find the good weather. I hope the Japanese intruder that i sneaked in the back door did not detract from what was very much a MG Freedom weekend. We are already looking forward to Highlander 2016.

Thanks for a splendid weekend, everybody. It was a real pleasure to see you all again; this year's Highlander lived up to expectations as ever. It was all over far too soon - roll on next year! Have a happy summer of motoring, all :-) David
