The F Register needs to send the routes to the MSA www.msauk.org/custom/asp/home/default.asp for approval. Once approved, the MSA issues a certificate for the event, then the routes can be made public. I think thats how it works.

Ok, The Highlander is nearly upon us!
I have 20 cars booked into the Nethybridge hotel and 37 guests. There may also be some daytrippers who will be most welcome.
Of the 20 entrants, only 8 have registered with the MGCC and paid their entry fee, can the rest of you try to sort this out as soon as possible please?
Cheers Alan

Just found £100 down the back of the settee this afternoon so Mr and Mrs Nutcase have came up with an idea We will be attending the Highlander this year after all and have booked the Nethy Bridge Hotel for the Saturday night only at this point as I might be working on the Monday. We have also paid our registration fee to the MGF register as required. Already looking forward to seeing Jim and Libby for the banter So Alan , add us to the end of your list and I will endeavour to pass everybody and get to the front as per usual. Note to self : Must be on my best behaviour and not be a hooligan again this year ;D

What are everybody's plans for getting there? Shall we do a run to get to the run? Not 100% sure when we'll both get away from work on the Friday, so we'll most likely make our own plans. Shall keep an eye out however, so please post any meet points/times and we'll see if we can catch you.

Glen, Can you name the places we are having lunch of all 3 days ? regards Tony Hi, sorry I cant. I didn't have anything to do with the HIGHLANDER this year except get the routes onto google maps. I think its a case everyone 'doing their own thing' for lunch in the areas you are stopping in. Alan can maybe confirm this. Glenn

Hi Tony, Since we are stopping in small towns, I have left the lunches up to the individuals, there are plenty of eateries in each of Drumnadrochit and Dornoch. On the Monday we willbe heading to the Belmont Arms in Meigle.

What are everybody's plans for getting there? Shall we do a run to get to the run? Sorry Niel, must have missed this post We are planning on setting off as early as possible on Fri morning (pre 10:00am). We plan to do a bit of caching on the way up and as long as we don't end up needing rescuing from a bog, we should be there in plenty of time for dinner

Big thanks to the "team" who devised the routes and got them on to google maps.
Silly question but is there a way (that I've missed) to get them from google maps prior to entry on satnav? e.g. how do I print the driving directions other than snipping?
