Hi Alan and Glen, At the 3rd and final attempt, the last room in the hotel AKA "The broom cupboard"has been booked. Ended up phoning the bar as the central reservations line was not open! I just wish everyone made it this difficult for me to part with my cash.

We're booked up for the saturday/night booked independently with the hotel after hearing Terry's problems with booking this side of the border. Looking forward to it as this was one of the hotels we stayed at last year as part of our engagement weekend tour. Great little hotel it is too.

The following routes have also been added to the first post.
The routes have been sent to the F Register Chairman for approval who has sent them to the MSA for approval and insurance purposes. The routes are the 'planned' routes, however in previous years the Register and MSA have always gone with the planned routes therefore im confident of posting these. Alterations, if any will be minimal.
I suggest looking through the routes and entering them in you SAT NAVS as 'multi stops' or 'via points' etc. The Routes: Saturday AM; goo.gl/maps/4EExB The Clan Campbell Run. From Arrochar to Campbelltown, through Argyle, the ancestral home of Clan Campbell.
Saturday PM; goo.gl/maps/w3zBh The Clan Campbell Run. Returning to Arrochar via a different route. Sunday AM; goo.gl/maps/CylLu The Atlantic Crossing Run. Via Loch Awe, over the Atlantic via the Clachan Bridge onto the Isle of Seil.
Sunday PMl; goo.gl/maps/nvICf The Atlantic Crossing Run. Retuning via Oban and Loch Lomond.

As the F-register is not paying for the rallye plates this year, we are covering this ourselves from group funds. Therefore, can anyone who has not yet paid their entry fee to MGCC please pay it to MGFreedom instead. We will pay for the plates and forward any remaining balance to the F-register. Thanks Alan

If everyone did what they are supposed to do i.e. registered for the event with the MGF Register and pay them, we would not be in this position with Rally Plates! No apology given as this is my first rant of 2013

No apology given as this is my first rant of 2013 Ok - I hear what your saying but I've never registered before until a week or so before the actual event! Also as a member of the Car club it only costs £15 on the register site. What option do I go for?

I don't know Neil. Up until Glenn paid on Wednesday only 4 people had paid which is what caused the problem with the rallye plates.

The Royal Automobile Club Motorsports Association Ltd (MSA), Certificate of Liability Insurance has been approved. A copy has been received from the MGF Register. We are legal and ready for the HIGHLANDER 2013.

Due to the ZT road tax being due at the end of April and recently paying out several hundered £'s for an engine rebuild following the TF timing belt snapping , I will be day trippin' at this years HIGHLANDER. Im only 45 mins away from Arrochar so it make sence to save on the hotel costs. It's me only on Saturday and the good lady will be with me on Sunday.

Anne phoned the hotel tonight and requested two additional places to be set for the dinner on the Saturday night so we can join you all. Can't manage the Sunday unfortunately but intend to come on the Saturday in the ZT and do part of the run to Campbelltown .
If Alan could remind the Hotel on arrival that there will be two extra for dinner it would be appreciated.
Cheers
Iain
