I Just got off the phone with a friend who lives in Arrochar. She said that there is snow and it's nearly waist high and is still falling!! The temperature is dropping well below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force. Her husband has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare. She says that if it gets much worse, she may have to let the drunken Fu**er in.

Well one week to go before we meet you all again,The blue streak is sitting in the garage all polished and ready to go,HOPE the weather improves before next week but if all else fails there is always the BAR to rely upon where we can get full and talk of yesteryear and past Highlanders.

Well we normally take the day off on the Friday and try to get to the hotel mid afternoon. However, as the event is almost on our doorstep this year, we decided to just set off after work. As June is off work at the moment i will see is i can get out early and get there as soon as possible.

Assume we all having dinner together on Friday and if so anyone know what time? I'm guessing we'll be at the hotel about 7'ish as Katie has an exam in EDB in the afternoon and I'm in work as normal. Might leave work an hour or so early to clean the car.... ( if my back is better ).

A great weekend once again despite the weather and a big thanks to Glenn & Alan. I had ordered the sunshine but apparently it was out of stock as it had all been sent to England Great to see everyone again and looking forward to seeing the photo's that everyone else has taken as we forgot to bring our camera.

Sorry about the B roads. The pot holes and rough roads were worse than expected. I'll send a letter to Argyle and Bute roads department telling them we have paid our road tax so can they keep their side of the bargain and fix the roads! I hope Dennis and his partner are OK after cutting the grass in a big field! It was a good couple of days with good banter, good food (outwith the hotel that is), good entertainment (outwith the hotel that is). It was nice to see everyone and hope you all come back again . . . EDIT: to the member who paid the HIGHLANDER fee to Alan (£15 cash) on Saturday, I have sent this payment to the MGF Register.

Just a quick thanks from us, had a really good time big thanks to Alan, Glenn and Iain for sorting it all out. Enjoyed the roads and even covered some I'd not driven before, managed to get the top down both days. Had fun chasing that diesel car on Saturday that wouldn't get out of my way, and then on Sunday chasing the lead group down the side of Loch Awe (once I'd been released). Shame about the hotel, email to be sent and comments on Trip Advisor. No geocaches, that will teach me for not loading them into the phone. Only a few pictures from me I'll sort them out in a day or so. Cheers, Neil & Katie

Thanks to everyone for making it a fun weekend as usual. It's always over too quickly though! The weather could have been better (just look at it now!) Thanks to Glen for the routes and Iain for the brochures. I'm working on next year now, we have a few ideas thrown around on Sunday night for me to ponder. Nice to meet some new people and really pleased to see Jim & Libby back with us. Watch this space.......

Can't imagine who you mean . The over sixties should all be locked up in old folks homes and not allowed to grow old disgracefully . I don't remember being there so it couldn't have been me .
