Hi everyone. Just became an MG TF owner. I had a chat with a few members at glamis castle 2 years ago. My old man liked the TF and I said I would keep an eye out for one. My main hobby is classic Mini's. Not desperate for a great car, happy to do a bit of work. But I did want a 160. Found this locally and bought today. Needs a few bits. But mainly what to do with the interior. It has half leather and alcantara seats but the drivers side bolster is shot. Also a few holes in the carpet. Dash is a bit discoloured at the passenger airbag and it's missing the fan speed control knob. Any help sourcing parts appreciated. Thanks David

Hi and welcome. I saw that car myself and was tempted! There is no passenger airbag, just a blanking plate so it's not missing. TFs turn up in scrappiest from time to time but eBay will be your friend for parts.

Hi.Welcome to the group. As Glenn says ebay is a great source but you can buy new stuff from Rimmer Bros, Brown & Gammons, MG Owners Club, GTMG Spares (http://www.gtmgftf.com),MG Mania Ltd.... If your looking for something specific probably best to Google it first and see what resultrs come up. Also worth asking on here as some of us have bits and pieces lying around that may be gathering dust! Cheers Iain

Cheers Iain. I have filled up my watched items on eBay. Once I get the car in my workshop I'll get ordering the parts I need.
Alternators seized so might need a new or 2nd hand one if I can't free it up.
