Glenn and I started this group many years ago now and we had many great times and met a lot of friends, many of whom are friends for life but in recent years the club has dwindled as members changed to different cars or moved away or in my case simply couldn't give it the commitment I once could since I work virtually every weekend. I am thinking that the time has come to wrap MGFreedom up. Although I still have my MG's and keep accumulating more (its an addiction) and I'd still like to be able to enjoy them with fellow enthusiasts I am not sure this group is serving any purpose any longer. I don't intend to close the forum as it costs nothing and may have useful info in its pages but it is clearly not being used much now. Thanks to all those who have joined us over the years and I hope those of you who still drive MGs will continue to enjoy the club scene through other groups.
All the very best.

Im genuinely emotional as i type this. MG Freedom was without the best group of its time. It brought a lot of people together and it stood out as the best because we were so active with our Fs and TFs. The runs, shows and other events were excellent and so memorable. If I could do it all again, I would without hesitation especially the Ecosse 3000 (France trip in 2010). Glenn and Alan (Inspector Clouseau and the Pink Panther en route to France) Times change. When we started MG Freedom we had the "freedom" of no children, no grandchildren no dogs to take up our time. Look at us now! Thank you to Alan and all the other members for being part of MG Freedom. Thanks for the memories. As Alan said there are other MG Clubs out there, most Facebook based so not really the same as MG Freedom once was. Im not at the end of the roas as Im now involved with the MG Car Club, Caledonian Centre so hopefully there more years left of MGing yet. p.s. I await the MG Freedom Revival lol Glenn.

OR MAYBE NOT!
There has been some discussion about a relaunch. Glenn, I've made you an admin so you can tinker with the forum. We need to organise a meet to decide on the way forward.
Keep MG'ing

As you will maybe have realised, the decision was taken at a covert meeting in a secret location to reboot MGFreedom. Watch this space as it gradually emerges. Please bear with us as we work to revitalise the group. There will gradually be changes apparent in the Forum as we edit and update and clear old threads. We have deleted most of the threads from the old Members Cars section as the pics were hosted by some now defunct website. Please start to create new threads. (You should be able to do this straight from smart phones now). I will work through the old runs & events section repopulating the pics for those threads. (that will be fun, not!)
