Here's an idiots guide to putting photo's on here or similar forums.
Firstly you need to have the picture hosted on the web somewhere. There are many web sites which you can use like Photobucket, Flickr, Snapfish to name but a few so you need to create an account for yourself on one of these sites. They are all free of charge. Just Google “Picture Hosting” and you will get plenty of options.
When saving you pictures, and if you are given the option, you may wish to save as "medium" or "large". This means it will fit within the computer screen. Some hosting sites asky you to save them as sizes e.g. 800 x 400. This is a good size for forums.
OK, here goes, so your pictures are hosted on whatever hosting site you choose. What you are looking for is your picture “http”. You can find this by:
1. When in you web hosting site, open the picture on your screen.
2. Right click on the picture and select properties.
3. The picture information will appear and the http will be displayed. It should look something like this - http:// image1.photobucket.com/pix1/i/200039/5/a/e/5ae467a2b5cf557fac0b186f5f295900_large.jpg
4. You need to copy and paste this http. To copy, left click and scroll the http information.
5. While the scrolled http information has been highlighted (normally dark blue), right click and select copy.
6. Your http address is now sitting on an imaginary clipboard on your PC waiting to be pasted later.
7. Next go to the MGFreedom site. To insert your image, select the Tag that looks like a picture frame and picture (under the S with a line through it)
8. This will appear - [/img].
9. Put your flashing cursor in the middle of the ][ Left click in the middle, between the square brackets (can be a bit tricky) then right click and select paste.
10. The image will appear in your post.
When doing this for the first time, it may seem difficult; however once you have done it a couple of times it’s a breeze!
Go on have a go
